Brief Description of Requirement The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Office for Product Safety and Standards is the appointed market surveillance authority, responsible for enforcing the Eco-design and Energy Labelling Regulations within the UK. This tender is for the testing of a selection of Gas Hobs to verify compliance with the following Regulations (and any amendments to these): COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 66/2014 of 14 January 2014 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements for domestic ovens, hobs and range hoods BS EN 30-2-1:2015 The test methods applied should follow harmonised standards the reference numbers of which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union, or other reliable, accurate and reproducible calculation and measurement methods. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the Document Uploads tab within the Delta eSourcing Portal. This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
