Description

This contract has already been awarded and is being published for transparency purposes. This contract is to draft a piece of secondary legislation, and be lead planning lawyer for the department, in accordance with policy instructions from the MHCLG. The legislation to be delivered is a Special Development Order under sections 59 and 60 Town and Country Planning Act 1990. This is to grant temporary planning permission for sites for HM Government's Border Infrastructure and facilities. This requirement will be split into three (3) Phases- each phase if utilised will be enacted via a Contract Amendment Phase 1 - Statutory instrument in place Phase 2 - Subsequent planning decisions Phase 3 -Legal challenges to SSHCLG decisions This contract has been awarded directly under crown commercial services General Legal Advice Services framework (GLAS RM 3786) This publication also includes details of Contract Amendment 01 to enact Phase 2 of the Contract - Capped Contract Value for Phase 1 and Phase 2 is £220,610 (excl.
