The contracts have been tendered for and awarded as 2 separate lots: Lot 1 - awarded to Recharge Cargo Services Ltd T/A Zedify The provision of Courier services using exclusively pedal or electric assisted 2, 3 or 4 wheeled cargo bikes and/or parcel trollies for the City of London Corporation and City of London Police. This service involves the secure collection and delivery of documents/ sensitive documents and parcels, including high value consignments, within a 5-mile radius of the Guildhall, Barbican Centre, Walbrook Wharf and City of London Police. The estimated value of this lot is 13,000GBP per annum based upon previous usage. Same day deliveries will be required if orders are placed before 2pm, with a next day service required for orders placed after 2pm. Lot 2 - awarded to CitySprint (UK) Limited The provision of Courier services for the City of London Corporation and City of London Police which involves the secure collection and delivery of documents/ sensitive documents, parcels including high value consignments both within London and UK, Europe and Internationally. The services provider will be required to collect from and deliver to any of the City of London Departments situated on various sites in and around London from Epping Forest and Port Health Authorities based in Tilbury & Manor way. The estimated value of this lot is 24,000GBP per annum based upon previous usage. The duration of each contract is 2 years, subject to the right of the City (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend each Contract by up to 1 further year. The maximum length of each contract is therefore 3 years. The total estimated contract value given is based upon a combination of the value of both lots for the full duration of each contract including extensions. These values are indicative only based upon previous volumes.
