The Framework Agreement covers the provision of a full range of IT Hardware including new, Refurbished and Remanufactured as well as repair, disposal and associated services including support and maintenance. The Framework Agreement will be split into 4 LOTs: · LOT 1 - IT Hardware · LOT 2 - Remanufactured IT Hardware · LOT 3 - Refurbished IT Hardware · LOT 4 - IT Hardware Repair, Disposal and Recycling Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following product groups: · Desktop PC’s · Laptops · Tablets · Thin client · Servers · Storage devices · E-Readers · Desktop printers · Spare parts and components · Networking and storage hardware Associated services may extend beyond the scope of the Goods/Services purchased and may include, but not be limited to; · End user support · Software · Service desk · Integration · Installation · Project management · Training · Asset management · Sanitisation · Approved destruction of products · Secure data erasure and destruction · Secure computer recycling and disposal · Auditable trail
Lot Division
1 | IT Hardware LOT 1 is for the provision of New IT Hardware Products. Hardware solutions and installations can also be procured. When procuring a solution, appropriate software may be provided under this LOT 1. All products purchased and delivered under this agreement shall be New and come with the manufacturer’s warranty therefore Suppliers must quote pricing for compliant products. This LOT 1 will include, but is not limited to, the following Goods/Services: Desktop PC’s Laptops Tablets Thin client Servers Storage devices E-Readers Desktop printers Spare parts and components Networking and storage hardware All IT related hardware |
2 | Remanufactured IT Hardware LOT 2 is for the provision of Remanufactured IT Hardware Products. Hardware solutions and installations can also be procured. When procuring a solution, appropriate software may be provided under this LOT 2. To avoid doubt - Remanufacturing for our Customers, is measured around ISO8887 which states “that Remanufacturing returns a used product to at least its original performance with a warranty that is equivalent 4 / 10 or better than that of the newly manufactured product. With respect to Remanufacturing – manufacturing effort involves dismantling the product, the restoration and replacement of components and testing of the individual parts and whole product to ensure that it is within its original design specifications; – performance after Remanufacturing is expected to be at least to the original performance specification; and – any subsequent warranty is generally at least equal to that of new product. This assumes that Remanufacturing applies to likefor-like products.” Remanufactured Goods will include, but not be limited to, the following: Desktop PC’s Laptops Servers Spare parts and components Networking and storage hardware All IT related hardware |
3 | Refurbished IT Hardware LOT 3 is for the provision of Refurbished IT Hardware Products. Hardware solutions and installations can also be procured. When procuring a solution, appropriate software may be provided under this LOT 3. To avoid doubt – Refurbished refers to ‘old’ or used computer equipment that has been restored to like-new working condition and/or appearance Refurbished Goods will include, but not be limited to, the following: Desktop PC’s Laptops Servers Spare parts and components Networking and storage hardware All IT related hardware |
4 | IT Hardware Repair, Disposal and Recycling Services LOT 4 is for the provision of repair, disposal and recycling services. This will include, but not be limited to, the following products: Desktop PC’s Laptops Tablets Thin client Servers Storage devices E-Readers Desktop Printers Mobile Phones AV Equipment All electronic and IT related equipment |
