Description

First Rail Holdings (FRH) will be tendering the provision of Cleaning and Environmental Services for two of it's Train Operating Companies (TOCs). These are Avanti West Coast (AWC) and TransPennine Express (TPE). First Rail Holdings are seeking services across a number of sites including: nominated stations, public areas, office premises, as well as train transit and turnaround cleaning. Smart Cleaning Connected technologies will be a considered when working with the chosen provider. Any potential supplier must consider the following Committed Obligations for some of the TOCs; • Living Wage Foundation The tender will be compiled as 3 lots, as follows; Lot 1 - Avanti West Coast Lot 2 - TransPennine Express Lot 3 - Entire First Rail Holdings covering all TOCs First Rail Holdings are proposing a 18 month contract, within which there will be different operational dates pertaining to each TOC. The contract is due to start on 1st October 2021 with an end date of 31 March 2023. The procurement process will be in 2 stages with a Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire followed by an Invitation to Tender for successful suppliers.
