Other Information
Hampshire Health in Education (HHiE) is a workstream of Hampshire County Council Public Health. Its aim is to provide educational settings with information, guidance and resources to aid them in supporting the health and wellbeing of the children and young people in their care and their families. Our vision: All staff working in educational settings feel informed and enabled to support every child in Hampshire to be healthy, happy and ready to learn. Our aim: To enable educational settings across Hampshire to confidently and competently deliver, health and wellbeing knowledge, support and action to children and young people (and their families where appropriate), helping them to have the best start in life. Through the HHiE work we are looking to develop a suite of introductory-level, free eLearning modules suitable for all education staff (from senior leaders to administrative staff). This is the first bespoke eLearning that HHiE will deliver to education staff. Learners looking for more in-depth training (such as face to face courses) will be directed to the Hampshire Inspection and Advisory Service (HIAS) or other local training providers.
