Description
The Authority has a requirement for an off-the-shelf revalidation management system, to be operated by MOD staff. The successful Contractor is required to provide a product that enables users to manage all aspects of appraisal and revalidation for Doctors through a centralised IT solution. The main functions of the system are to maintain each Responsible Officer (ROs) list of doctors, maintain a list of appraisers, allocate appraisers, send programmed email reminders, provide secure storage of appraisal outputs, populate a dashboard showing the status of doctors in respect of their revalidation, link with the GMC revalidation system (GMC Connect), support quality assurance processes, and allowing seamless migration of doctors between different responsible officers, internally and externally. Specific user requirements of the revalidation management system are included in the SoR. As part of the tender process the Authority requires the opportunity to examine and trial the proposed system for capability and effectiveness, this testing will take place at RAF High Wycombe (HP14 4UE). Contractors will be notified of the date and time of the System Evaluation Date after the tender closing date. Contractors must attend the System Evaluation Day if they pass the first part of the evaluation criteria and at no cost to the Authority. The evaluation criterion for this requirement is detailed below:
