Description
North of England Commissioning Support (NECS), working for and on behalf of NHS Tees Valley Clinical Commissioning Group (the Contracting Authority and Commissioners) wish to alert the market to an exciting future service opportunity which will be shortly advertised and are at this stage seeking expressions of interest from any interested parties in order to gain a better understanding of the capacity and appetite of the market in this respect. The Contracting Authority is seeking potential providers to invest in externally facilitated patient and public engagement activity on behalf of the CCG. It is proposed that the provider would inform the way in which the engagement activity is undertaken, adapting to meet social distancing arrangements and the needs of those they are engaging with. The CCG are looking to secure a single organisation to span the Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland local authority areas that can create and deliver a programme of engagement opportunities that enable all local people to have a voice and share their views on how we can develop and deliver services for our communities. The engagement activity will: • seek the views of local people over a minimum of 8 separate activities to influence and improve the way local health care is delivered; • ensure engagement involves seldom heard groups to ensure their views and experience of local health care are heard and understood; •share national and local health information in addition as well as CCG messages with local people through established networks using the most appropriate communication and engagement methods for different groups; •support the involvement of local people in the planning, development and commissioning of new and existing health services, working in collaboration with the CCG; •enable local people to provide feedback to the CCG to continually improve services and patient experience. The anticipated Financial Envelope for these services is £5,000. It is important to note that this PIN is a call for competition and as such potential providers will need to express an interest in order to receive any future tender opportunities relating to this service for this commissioner. It should be noted that this PIN invites individuals and organisations to express an interest in this exercise only, and it is NOT a prequalification questionnaire, and is NOT part of any pre-qualification or selection process. This PIN is intended as an awareness, communication, and information gathering exercise. This expression of interest is an indication that individuals and organisations wish to receive future request for quotation documentation and will be invited to submit a competitive quotation, should a request for quotation process be follow as a result of the responses received to this EOI. On receipt of EOI's North of England Commissioning Support will issue a quotation process on behalf of NHS Tees CCG to those interested organisations.
