Description

The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham is undertaking a replacement of the Boilers and Mechanical Equipment at Fews/Kallar Lodge. The existing plant comprises the following: - 2No. heating Boilers . - steel flue system - twin head heating pump - boiler shunt pumps - Redundant Hot water calorifier - 1No. gas valve - Pressurisation equipment - Control panel and distribution board (Note: The distribution board may contain power supplies to; fire alarm panel, External CCTV control, access and security systems, all of which must be retained). The contractor shall allow for the safe isolation, draining down and removal from site of the above equipment complete, including all local pipework within the plant room, pipework headers, valves, insulation, power and controls systems. The tender period will be during February March 2021. The ideal construction period (on site) would be asap after the tender has been evaluated in 2021, and will not exceed 6 weeks, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic this may be subject to change.
