Description

The Dover Federation for the Arts Multi Academy Trust is a Dover, Kent based Trust comprising four schools, three primary schools and one secondary school. The proposed contract will be for the outsourced provision of catering services to the client. It is the client’s expectation that the successful bidder shall be responsible for the operation of the catering function including employment and management of staff, supply of foodstuffs, consumables and light equipment and preparing and serving appropriate meals. The client will retain responsibility for payment of utilities and the operation and maintenance of core catering equipment and facilities.

The original contract can be extended up to 5 years, but the contract value and the initial estimated value in the original award notice were provided for 3 years only. In the award notice it was: V.2.4) Information on value of the contract/lot (excluding VAT) Initial estimated total value of the contract/lot: GBP 1 600 000.00 Total value of the contract/lot: GBP 1 355 016.00 But it should be: V.2.4) Information on value of the contract/lot (excluding VAT) Initial estimated total value of the contract/lot: GBP 1 600 000.00 Total value of the contract/lot: GBP 2 258 360.00.
