Description
The UK Atomic Energy Authority has a requirement for the completion of the detailed design, manufacture, assembly, testing and supply of residual ion dump, calorimeters, hypervapotrons and a beam line module frame for its MAST Upgrade Enhancements Project.
Total Quantity or Scope
The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority carries out research into the use of controlled nuclear fusion for the generation of power. The Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak Upgrade (MAST-U) is one such fusion experiment which is due to undergo enhancements. The Authority now has a requirement for the Completion of the Detailed Design, Manufacture, Assembly, Testing and Supply of the following enhancements: — residual ion dumps (upper and lower), — calorimeter and associated hypervapotrons, — Beamline Module Frame (BLMF) – a frame which supports the Residual Ion Dumps, Bend Magnets, Calorimeter, and associated services.
