Care Assistant Rate of Pay: £10.01 PAYE Hours: 28 Hours (see rota for more information) Location: Fountain Court, Millpool Way, Smethwick, B66 4HW Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency - 12 weeks Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: The service is generally focused on but not completely for people who have a dementia diagnoses. The main duties include supporting people to engage in meaningful activities, supporting people with occasional personal care, supporting people to keep safe due to their confusion and supporting people to mobilise to and from the dining room, toilet etc.

You will be required to promote independence and dignity. To work well with existing day care staff members and managers to deliver a valued service You will require experience with working with Older people with a physical or mental health need. A good level of written and verbal communication This role will require working days and evening and weekends and also be required to work on Bank Holidays.
