HMRC utilises annual car sales data to support effective modelling of car related taxes and requires a contractor to provide car data on an annual basis and car-related consultancy on an ad hoc basis, up to 2 days per year. Required car data comprises of a series of records by car make and model, including total car sales of that model to companies and private individuals, list price, CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
