WTP's to be capable of processing highly silted construction wastewater influent with a maximum TSS in the region of 10000 mg/L and a pH up to 13. Be able to treat the wastewater in a reasonable time frame to achieve permitted effluent discharge within the EA specification - tenderers to provide information in graph form on the estimated time required to treat a theoretical 20 m3 per hour of influent with the following parameters; 1) 10000 mg/L pH 11 2) 5000 mg/L pH 11 3) 3000 mg/L pH 11 4) 2000 mg/L pH 11 5) 1000 mg/L pH 11 When selecting a supplier BBV look for alignment of values, behaviours and cultures, between ourselves and our supply chain. Suppliers may then be invited to the project, to formally demonstrate their experience and capabilities. On selection, shortlisted suppliers will be issued with a formal pre-qualification and/or Invitation to Tender (ITT) to demonstrate their ability to work with these values and behaviours in mind, whilst proving their demonstration of capabilities and competence.
