Description
About the job - Provide a robust and deliverable communication service to workstream leads and programme colleagues. - Examine ministerial and infrastructure priorities and effectively respond to the high volume briefing and commission requests on behalf of the infrastructure team. - Develop and manage responses to commissions and briefings ensuring the effective management of the full end-to-end process from commission to completion and maintain a knowledge repository. - Identify key infrastructure messages and maintain up-to-date tailored communications products for specific audiences on key programme issues. - Work in conjunction with others in the programme team to develop core lines/script. - Promote and encourage the early integration of strategic communication and infrastructure communications. - Review communication strategies to ensure integration across communication channels, identify any gaps and work with and through programme & strategic communications and press office colleagues in delivery. - Ensure consistency of voice, tone and message across all channels. - Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, advocates and partners, to gather intelligence and build situational awareness. - Evaluate the effectiveness of communication against objectives. Review lessons learned and identify areas for improvement for future infrastructure communications. - Ensure and commit to individual and organisational learning and talent development. - Attend stakeholder forums and events to present core lines on behalf of the
