Description

The Council is re-tendering for the supply and delivery of fresh/organic foodstuffs. This supports the school meals service which has achieved and maintained the Food for Life Gold Standard for over 15 years. The contract will be split into 7 Lots. North Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council will have the option to purchase from any of the Lots at any point during the term of the Contract.

Supply and delivery of fresh meat and cooked meat.
2 Fresh Poultry

Supply and delivery of fresh poultry.
3 Fresh Fish

Supply and delivery of fresh fish.
4 Fresh Fruit & Vegetables

Supply and delivery of fresh and/or organic fruit and vegetables.
5 Fresh Cows Milk/Milk Products

Supply and delivery of fresh and/or organic cows milk and milk products.
6 Fresh Hens Eggs

Supply and delivery of fresh hens eggs.
7 Dry, Bottled & Tinned Food Stuffs

Supply and delivery of dry, bottled and tinned food stuffs, organic where possible, otherwise ethically sourced.
