Legal Justification
The Deployed Platform Services team, part of the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to award a 12-Month contract to STORM Technologies Limited, for the supply of support to Legacy equipment, that will be both hardware and software agnostic. The value of this requirement is £228,592.17 (ex VAT). The contract shall be placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Article 28(1) (e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1) (a) (i) of the UK Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011) for competition failure. This requirement has been competed twice under Crown Commercial Services Frameworks and this has elicited no winning bidders. Due to the urgency of this element of support, the Authority has identified that STORM Technologies can fulfil this requirement.
