Description

The purposes and aims are to improve bus services and increase bus usage and to influence policies in North Lincolnshire, through the local delivery of the National Bus Strategy recommendations. There are two components of the work: (a.) to put in place an Enhanced Partnership between North Lincolnshire Council and the local bus operators, as enabled by the Bus Services Act 2017 and as proposed for wider adoption in the National Bus Strategy, with an appropriate level of ambition and a sound governance structure, and (b.) to develop a Bus Service Improvement Plan tailored to the local context, NLC strategic priorities and stakeholder input, and which is realistic, viable and deliverable.
