To provide supplementary Catering Services for the University. There will be multiple lots encompassing:Lot 1 – Delivered Cold Food Lot 2 – Serviced Hot and Cold Food Lot 3 – Total Serviced Turnkey Solutions Lot 4 – Pop Up/Mobile Temporary Catering Lot 5 – Pizza Lot 6 – Specific Dietary Catering Events
Lot Division
1 | Delivered Cold Food
Fresh food that is prepared off site and is delivered for cold consumption. The range includes sandwiches, other bread products, salads, finger food, fork buffets, bowl food, grazing menus, high teas, canapés, packed meals, cakes and traybakes, etc. and any combination thereof. |
2 | Delivered Hot & Cold Food
Fresh food that is prepared off site and is delivered and served for hot and/or cold consumption. The range includes finger food, fork buffets, bowl food, flying buffet, grazing menus, high teas, canapés, plated meals and formal dining etc. and any combination thereof. Appropriate eating utensils, serving utensils, table covering and set up, napery should also be provided. |
3 | Total Serviced Turnkey Solutions (High End Catering) A turnkey approach to Weddings and Events, this could include the provision of outdoor services in temporary structures i.e. marquees. Fresh food that is prepared off site, transported and finished off on site; served for hot and/or cold consumption. The range includes finger food, fork buffets, bowl food, flying buffet, high teas, canapés, plated meals and formal dining etc. and any combination thereof. Appropriate eating utensils, serving utensils, table covering and set up, napery should also be provided. |
4 | Pop Up / Mobile Temporary Catering The supply and operation of a range of catering services for parties and events. The client may require the following services:• BBQ – cooked on site and served • Hog Roast – cooked/finished off on site and served • Variety of street food / pop up traders for large outdoor functions • Party Stalls – Popcorn machine, Candy Floss, Chocolate Fountain, Sweets Stall etc Facilitation needs to consider the customer’s point of consumption including: the utensils for self-service and eating (these could be disposable or washable) and appropriate napery. |
5 | PIzza The supply of a range of branded or non branded pizza products and solutions that provides a range of toppings and choice of sizes to meet customer needs.The products must have a short delivery time from the point of order and be provided in appropriate packaging and bags that retain the products at the required temperature. |
6 | Specific Dietary Catering Events This Lot includes events with cultural or religious requirements that influence the style of catering needed.The type of event could range from a wedding to a day conference with eh theme of the event influencing the dietary need. For example Hindu wedding or Vegan farming Conference. The customer will be specific about the requirements and the supplier must ensure compliance with provision of the supply from source to delivery inline with customer expectations to match the dietary needs of the consumers. |
