Description

Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to BEAT. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. Heath Education England [HEE] believes that BEAT is the only organisation capable of delivering the specific requirements to deliver the key learning elements required for an understanding of eating disorders. BEAT is the only supplier with the requisite expertise and experience to assist HEE in fulfilling the Mandate deliverables and actions of UK government policy. Therefore, Health Education England is seeking to commission BEAT to develop a suite of courses tailored for healthcare clinical staff supporting clients with eating disorder, with a particular focus on the expert by experience perspective. The courses will be written by selected Beat Clinical Associate Trainers, in close collaboration with groups of, potential trainees, stakeholders, clinical specialists in eating disorder, and experts by experience. Sessions will be designed to be co-delivered by experts by experience, who will also feature by video in the self-directed components. The financial envelope for the contract is £100,000.
