Description
As part of the National Cyber Security Programme, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) requires design and delivery of a programme to build enthusiasm and engagement for cyber security amongst young people of secondary school age - and at a point that leads up to and includes pupils’ decision points on subject choices for further study. The required services will focus activity in 3 core areas: • A Digital Solution(s) to inspire and support 11-14 year old young people’s engagement with cyber security across the UK. • Regional pilot interventions to support the Digital Solution and, importantly, to embed and deepen engagement of it with under-represented groups and in areas of disadvantage. • A Targeted Communications Campaign, to support both the promotion of the Digital Solution and to embed and deepen engagement to build awareness and enthusiasm for cyber careers in the target audience.
