Description

The Armstrong Building is the oldest building on Newcastle University's campus and is the site of the original Armstrong College, intrinsically linked to the formation of the University. The building was designed by Robert J Johnson, F W Rich and W H Knowles and construction took place in three phases between 1887 and 1906.
