Description

NHS Trusts, Mental Health Trusts and CCG’s may have a requirement for fully compliant supplementary solutions for the delivery of patient care to help ensure participating authorities’ key performance Indicators are maintained. This may involve, from time to time, working with external providers to assist in meeting this need both on NHS Trust premises and on provider premises. This framework agreement seeks to assist in meeting that need, across two lots: Lot 1: Supplementary healthcare provided on provider premises; Lot 2: Supplementary healthcare provider on Trust premises.

Legal Justification

These services are required to support NHS Trusts in response to Covid-19 and a need to increase the value of the procurement due to a during/post-Covid requirement has increased beyond any reasonable expectation at the time the agreement was awarded. The Covid-19 pandemic meets the conditions outlined under 72(1) (c) of PCR 2015, and it is under those conditions that a modification to the duration of the framework is proposed to be made. In making such a modification it is understood that NOE CPC would be required to send a notice to OJEU for publication outlined under 72(3) of PCR 2015.
