Description

HM Coastguards' current Avaya telephony managed service support contract provided by Vodafone incorporates the provision of 200 Gamma Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) telephone exchange lines and expires on 30th June 2021. Through Vodafone, Gamma Telecom Ltd provide our bespoke dial plans designed for our National Blue Light Emergency network and all MCA Corporate Services, which includes all incoming MCA Direct Dialing In (DDI) numbers. A different SIP provider would mean porting the SIP telephone exchange lines causing disruption and thereby placing an unacceptable risk to the telephony platform and Blue Light infrastructure. The MCA is seeking to remove the SIP Telephone Exchange Lines from the current Vodafone managed service contract and deal with Gamma directly. The contract with Gamma will be an initial 3 year term; Year 1 will include rental of the SIP telephone exchange lines, data connectors and calls costing £56,507.32 and a project management charge of £7,250 and Vodafone professional service charge of £5,000. Years 2 and 3 contain rental charges of £44,257.32 excl. VAT. Total whole life cost is £145,021.96 excl. VAT over three years.
