Description

The requisition is for 5 fully wired data logger enclosures supplied by Campbell Scientific Ltd(CSL), we have purchased more than 50 enclosures of this type from CSL for the COSMOS-UK project over the past 7 years. Putting a tender out to any other suppliers for this work would result in a complete change of the program, materials and processes involved not only with the testing and installation of the enclosures but also with the subsequent data collection and handling. CSL also have the previous working knowledge and experience of the COSMOS project which is necessary to complete the build of the logger enclosures. For these reasons it is not a viable option to open the tender to alternative suppliers.
