Description

The Regeneration & Planning department of Caerphilly County Borough Council is seeking offers for the supply of a security person for its buildings located at Tredomen Business Park.

Total Quantity or Scope

The security guard shall be required to carry out external patrols, check doors are secure and monitor CCTV at Tredomen Business Park, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, CF82 7FN, consisting of: - Tredomen Business & Technology Centre - Tredomen Innovation & Technology Centre - Tredomen Gateway Building The service is NOT required at the following buildings on the same site: - Tredomen House - Penallta House. Additional information: As part of their tender submissions, bidders are required to submit their Social Value Offer. The amount of Social Value offered by a bidder will be converted into a percentage figure by dividing the Social Value Proposal by the assumed Contract Value to arrive at a Social Value ‘additionality’ percentage.

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** A uniformed security guard shall be required on site between the following hours: - 17:00 to 08:00 MONDAY to FRIDAY - 16:30 FRIDAY TO 08:00 MONDAY (24 hour cover Saturday & Sunday) - 24 hour cover (until 08:00 the next working day) BANK HOLIDAYS - ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL PERIODS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ABOVE TIME SPECIFICATIONS As part of the process, the tender will be undertaken utilising Caerphilly CBC's Proactis Portal e-tendering system. Therefore, companies are invited to follow the directions below to register on the system: 1. Log in to the Proactis Portal E-tendering system at https://www.proactisplaza.com 2. In the Enter Product Classification screen please ensure that you select the Product Classification Codes (CPV Codes)that appear in the tender notice. 8. Accept the Terms and Conditions and then click Next. This takes you in to the Welcome window. 9. In the Welcome window please enter your Organisation name, Organisation ID and User Name (User ID). You now need to create your unique password. Please ensure that you make a note of this along with the other information already recorded. 10. Now click Done and you will enter the Supplier Home page. 11. From the Home Page, go to the “Opportunities” area, where you can search for this Opportunity. Click on the "Show Me Arrow" of the relevant opportunity and then click to register your interest on the relevant button. 12.
