The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to put in place a Framework Agreement which will include a number of Contractors, to work in partnership with the Council for the processing of scrap metal and lead acid batteries as cost-effectively as possible, maximising recovery and recycling opportunities and providing an income to the Council in respect of this waste stream.

1 Service in respect of Scrap Metal

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to put in place a Framework Agreement, Lot 1 of which is in respect of Mixed Scrap Metal, to include a number of Contractors, to work in partnership with the Council for the processing of scrap metal as cost-effectively as possible, maximising recovery and recycling opportunities and providing an income to the Council in respect of this waste stream.
2 Service in respect of Lead Acid Batteries

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking to put in place a Framework Agreement, Lot 2 of which relates to Lead Acid Batteries, to include a number of Contractors, to work in partnership with the Council for the processing of scrap metal and lead acid batteries as cost-effectively as possible, maximising recovery and recycling opportunities and providing an income to the Council in respect of this waste stream.
