Description

The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent providers to provide temporary accommodation services. The purpose of this procurement is to recommission the following temporary accommodation services: • Accommodation for single men • Accommodation for single women • Accommodation for families The aim of this contract(s) is to provide temporary accommodation for homeless people with support to address the underlying reasons for their homelessness and empower them to live independently in the community.

Lot Division

1 Green Lane Single Homeless Centre
  • Value: £1M

To deliver high quality temporary accommodation and empowering, person-centred support to single men residing at Green Lane Centre. The aim of the service is to provide holistic, individualised support, including working in partnership with other agencies to address the underlying reasons for homelessness within the service user group. Service Users will be supported to move on from this service to greater independence, with an average maximum length of stay of six months.

2 Geneva Road Single Homeless Centre

To deliver high quality temporary accommodation and empowering, person-centred support to single women residing at Geneva Road. The aim of the service is to provide holistic, individualised support, including working in partnership with other agencies to address the underlying reasons for homelessness within the service user group. Service delivery will be informed by women-centred principles, recognising the particular needs of this service user group. Service Users will be supported to move on from this service to greater independence, with an average maximum length of stay of six months.

3 Belvidere Family Centre

To deliver high quality temporary accommodation and empowering, person-centred support to families residing at Belvidere Family Centre. The aim of the service is to provide holistic, individualised support, including working in partnership with other agencies to address the underlying reasons for homelessness within the service user group. Service delivery will be informed by whole-family principles ensuring the needs of the children are recognised and addressed within the service. Families will be supported to move on from this service to greater independence, with an average maximum length of stay of six months.
