Description
The procurment conducted by the London Borough of Hackney (LBH or the “Authority”) was aimed at appointing a suitably qualified Contractor, to supply tyres and associated tyre maintenance and support services for the Council’s fleet of 480 directly owned, leased and hired commercial vehicles.
Total Quantity or Scope
The Authority's requirements for this service spans a variety of services including roadside support, supply and fitting of new and remoulded tyres and repair of tyres. In order to operate a seamless, coordinated approach to tyres and tyres services, the Authority is looking to appoint a single contractor to provide all elements of the service. The term of the contract will be for a period of three years with extension options as set out below.
