Description
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde wish to develop a Procurement Framework for Glasgow City Welfare Advice Health Partnership with external providers for the delivery of Welfare Advice and Health Partnership in General Practice.
Lot Division
1 | Challenging Behaviour Rehabilitation Service The Scottish Government announced a 2 year funding package to deliver an embedded welfare right service in up to 150 GP practices across Scotland serving deprived communities to help address growing mental health concerns caused by money and housing insecurity. This builds on the success of Glasgow’s embedded money advice project which is currently delivered in 30 practices across 5 GP clusters; these services will be sustained via national funding. An extensive body of evidence demonstrates that integrating and embedding money advice in General Practice has a positive effect on patient health, reduces the pressure on Practice staff and enables advice agencies to engage with client groups who would otherwise not engage with their services. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) are seeking a dynamic organisation(s) to deliver an on-site Money Advice Service. |
