Description
Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the Emergency Care Response Service. The Emergency Care Response (ECR) service is a short-term service to support adults social care settings (residential or nursing care homes, Supported Living or Extra care) experiencing short term staffing difficulties or failure across the Hampshire County Council (HCC) area, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ECR Service will allow the Council to access a pool of live-in care staff from 8am Thursday to 8am Tuesday each week to address any immediate needs related to staff shortages, allowing the provider additional time in which to overcome their difficulties or seek alternative means of support. The Contract will commence on 11th November 2021 and will be for a period of 12 weeks with the option to extend for a further 12 weeks.
