Description

Watford Borough Council wishes to appoint a consultant / contractor to carry out the design and implementation of a Pilot Heritage Trail which includes: Creating an easy to follow, self-guided Pilot Heritage Trail in Watford's Town Centre High Street which provides visitors and local residents with an insight into our rich local history, joinable at any point; To encourage public interest in local surroundings, building interest through signs and gateway points along the trail with easy to scan QR codes which shares historical information or fun facts; To have an accessible Heritage Trail that is downloadable and printable from the museum, not dependent on digital technology; and To encourage schools to explore the trail by adapting content into a 'school friendly' version.
