Description
None Invasive Ventilation consisting of CPAP, Bilevel and High Flow Therapy devices with associated consumables, sleep therapy devices consisting of CPAP and APAP with associated consumables, sleep monitoring devices. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £7,000,000. NHS Supply Chain are supporting DHSC and the NHS in securing a volume of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure ("CPAP") devices required to manage a shortage in supply, as a result of ongoing global supply issues of the devices. The circumstances has resulted in a demand with extreme urgency for treatment in emergency cases and urgent referrals, combined with an increasing backlog of cases. In order to minimise risk to public health, NHS Supply Chain are seeking to ascertain the availability of the CPAP devices in the market via this PIN.
