Description
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is working in partnership with South East London Clinical Commissioning Group and local stakeholders to redesign our local Integrated Therapies Service. The Integrated Therapies Service comprises 3 integrated components namely: a) Speech and Language Therapy Services, b) Physiotherapy Services and c) Occupational Therapy Services The integrated service will deliver improved outcomes for children and young people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who are residents or attending schools within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The service is an essential part of the children's services 'system', and delivers a priority within the Children and Young People's Plan, though improving health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people. The service will identify additional needs early, build resilience and reduce health inequalities by providing effective targeted and specialist interventions for children with additional needs, alongside universal provision. The new service will be developed in line with feedback from children, young people and families, to ensure effective, efficient and flexible service that maximises the use of available resources to meet the ever increasing demand. This will be a Competitive Procedure with Negotiation, to facilitate effective co-design with the successful provider. A detailed timeline is available in the tender pack.
