Description

The Place department within Newcastle City Council takes the lead in transport policy, planning and management of scheme delivery. Successful modern cities require effective transport systems; our objective therefore is to enhance and deliver an integrated transport network to support sustainable development and economic growth. This will enable people of all ages, abilities and incomes to safely travel around and across the city and into and out of the City Centre. It requires investment in the physical infrastructure of the City and also in 'hearts and minds' behavior change programmes. To meet these needs Newcastle City Council wish to establish a multiple lot Framework Agreement for the provision of Traffic and Transport mode use data.
