The University wishes to appoint a Contractor as The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester requires high standard integrated control systems equipment and digital twin software to be used for teaching and research in the area of control systems including but not limited to continuous and discrete-time PID control, state space, system identification, multivariable control (multiple-input, multiple-output system control), model predictive control, nonlinear control, optimal control, robust control and reinforcement control. The control systems equipment must be an integrated hardware system suitable for both classical and advanced control education and research. The digital twin software for the control systems equipment and other multiple virtual digital twin software for different control systems benchmark problems are required to allow the students and researchers to design controllers and analyse control systems performance in a software simulation environment; the equipment will be located at The University of Manchester.
