Description

iSolutions provides computing facilities, data communications, AV installations, AV support and telephone services to support all University activities. As one of the largest departments within the University's Professional Services, we provide essential resources to all members of the University to support learning and teaching, research, and University administration. The department comprises approximately 270 Personnel and is located at the Highfield Campus and 1 Guildhall Square in Southampton. iSolutions provides and supports the extensive network infrastructure which gives access to these resources. Services include audio-visual services, a virtual learning environment, public access workstation areas and Internet cafés, email and web services, high-performance computing and data storage and backup. We provide and support all of the teaching, research and administrative systems for the University, as well as advice and help to all students and Personnel.
