Northumberland County Council are proposing to refurbish 8 bridges as part of the Steel Bridges Refurbishment Programme, Whiteadder Bridge is the first to be delivered. The Contracting Authority have appointed a Principal Contractor to complete the preparation and painting of the steel structural elements of Whiteadder bridge, and also the provision of all necessary temporary works and access provisions to allow successful completion of the works.
