Description

Design, manufacture and installation of Mechanical Test Equipment within Hot Cells at the Materials Research Facility at Culham Science Centre.

Total Quantity or Scope

UKAEA wishes to procure for the supply of mechanical test equipment for use in a new hot cell extension at its Materials Research Facility (MRF) at its Culham site in Oxfordshire. This will include: Supplying a servo-hydraulic load frame (the ‘test instrument’) with control hardware and software. Supplying sample environments (e.g. furnace(s) and climate chamber) for testing at sub-ambient and elevated temperature.
