Location

Description

The service provider appointed by the Council to deliver the Service shall collect suitable reusable furniture (as defined in the Specifications) from residents of the London Borough of Hackney and make such furniture available to members of the public for reuse.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Service includes the booking of collections, the assessment of furniture and household items, the collection of reusable furniture from Hackney households and the making of such furniture available for reuse in suitable second-hand shop(s). The Service Provider shall also promote the use of the Service in Hackney. The Services shall be delivered within the specified budget and in accordance with certain service targets and number of collections (see Specifications in Tender documents) Additional information: As set out in tender documentation

Renewal Options

The contract to be entered into will have an initial duration of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period or periods of up to 4 more years subject to performance and need for service
