Description
Wandsworth Council is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of targeted short breaks for Wandsworth children and young people (CYP) with disabilities and their families. The Council has divided the contract into two (2) Lots: Lot 1: A play offer from the Lady Allen Playground for CYP of 5 (Year 1) to 14 years of age; Lot 2: An individual support and a group-based offer for CYP of 11 to 17 years of age. The Council will not award both Lots to the same provider and the commencement date of the contracts is 1st June 2022.

1 | A play offer at Lady Allen Playground
Wandsworth Council is looking for a suitably experienced and qualified service provider to deliver a play offer to children with disabilities aged 5 – 14 years old (Lot 1). The successful tenderer will deliver the offer after school, on Saturdays and during holiday periods. The offer will be delivered from the Lady Allen Playground in Clapham London. Tenderers will be required to prove that they have experience of successfully providing a play offer to children with disabilities aged 5 – 14 years old. The contract will be for an initial period of 5 years commencing on 1st June 2022 and subject to an extension period of up to 2 years at the absolute discretion of the Council. The indicated value of the contract for Lot 1 is £966,000 over the proposed contract period (5 years) including the extension period, with an annual value of £138,000. Wandsworth Council is looking for a suitably experienced and qualified service provider to deliver an individual support and group-based offer to children and young people with disabilities aged 11 – 17 years old (Lot 2). The successful tenderer will deliver the offer after school, on Saturdays and during holiday periods. Tenderers will be required to prove that they have experience of successfully providing an individual support and group-based offer to children and young people with disabilities aged 11 – 17 years old. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 years commencing on 1st June 2022 and subject to an extension period of up to 2 years at the absolute discretion of the Council. The indicated value of the contract for Lot 2 is £513,000 over the proposed contract period (5 years) including the extension period, with an annual value of £102,600.
