Description

This is a request for an independent review, assessment and recommendations relating to the healthcare information flows through the Criminal Justice System from the point of first contact with police through courts and into prison or release into the community at any time. This is for professional services of a suitably experience and competent provider to carry out this work within the agreed time scales and budget. This will involve a period of evidence collection within several settings namely, police custody, courts custody, YOI's SCHs, prison custody and decision makers along the pathway i.e. Probation, YOTs and Courts. The Recommendations will support a number of prioritised options that can be implemented or commissioned to significantly improve all information flows making them timely, accurate, effective and over the lifetime of the contract's value for money whilst improving the safety and well-being of Service Users.
