Description

Expertise, data collection and associated analysis is being sought to provide insight, overview and visualisation into the key pollutants in Leicestershire at 100m resolution level around the key pollutants of NO2 and PM2.5 to: • Determine the key sources of air pollution in Leicestershire • Identify the location of these sources • Identify the effect of these pollutants on the residents of the county • Compare the pollutant concentrations with key demographic information • Identify best practice mitigations to reduce the exposure of the pollutants This information will be pivotal in informing the key messages developed for the engagement project with residents and workplaces around air quality. This engagement is part of the Air Quality and Health Partnership Action Plan, approved by the Health and Wellbeing Board and forms part of the wider consultation programme linked with the LCC Engagement team.
