Description
The EA invites tenders for the Supply and Delivery of pre-filled lunch bags to individual school Meals kitchens throughout Northern Ireland for the period ending 31 December 2022 with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months or parts thereof on a call-off as required basis.
Prices are being sought for the supply and delivery of a pre-filled lunch bag (to include a sandwich, fruit portion and bottle of water) and detailed requirements are given in the tender documentation.
Supply of these lunch bags will only be required in emergency situations when kitchen staff have been reduced significantly within specific locations, due to unforeseen circumstances, such as an outbreak of COVID-19.
The requirement for lunch bags could be for a small number of bags to several hundred in one or a number of kitchens throughout Northern Ireland on a day-to-day basis, equally, there may be no requirement at all.
The need to purchase from this framework is dependent on which, if any kitchens, are affected by unforeseen circumstances.
It should be noted that these lunch bags will be required on very short notice, frequently by 12.00 noon on same day of order, and will only be required in the emergency situations as described above.
