The Home Office's Data Services & Analytics (DSA) is a centralised service within DDaT's Enterprise Services and has been at the forefront of efforts to re-imagine the department's relationship with data. It has led the way in professionalising our approach to the acquisition and analysis of data, promoting dynamic insight-led and evidence-based decision-making tools and techniques. The Home Office Data Matching provision is a component of the DSA Data Integration Service and is fundamental to the DSA data platform delivering on DSA's vision to be at the forefront in the use of data analytics in Government.The Data Matching services deal with a significant amount of data from a variety of sources which require ongoing work to integrate into a combined, searchable dataset. The Home Office is looking for a partner supplier with specialist knowledge and experience of delivering data matching solutions in IBM Big Match. The Home Office has determined that it requires a supplier to provide this service with a view to bringing this in-house in the future.The purpose of this notification is to provide the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 5 (DoS 5) Lot 1 - Digital Outcomes Framework Suppliers with early visibility of the requirement. The Home Office intends to conduct a formal Early Market Engagement (EME) event week commencing 14th February 2022, with a provisional date of Wednesday 16th January 2022 (PM) currently scheduled (TBC). The event will.• Provide suppliers with an overview of the requirement, bidding process and aim to address any initial questions.• Be held remotely via MS Teams or similar application.Following the event, the Home Office may undertake further EME, via various means (e.g. meetings, questionnaires) with some, or all Framework Suppliers involved in the process. Note: Framework Suppliers may be required to complete a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).The Home Office reserves the right to change the scope of this notification prior to issuing a notice of the Further Competition; including but not limited to the contract scope, duration, and indicative value. Please note that participation or non-participation in this EME event will not influence or restrict Framework Suppliers from taking part in any resulting Further Competition.Registering to participate in the EME Event:The EME event is expected to be held week commencing 14th February 2022. Suppliers interested in attending should express their interest in attending via email to Jeremy.Bowland@homeoffice.gov.uk by no later than Noon on Wednesday 9th February 2022.
