Description

Leicestershire County Council owns the Development Land adjacent to Embankment House, Electric Avenue, Nottingham NG80 1EH. The County Council acquired Embankment House in February 2018 which comprises a 60,000 sq ft office building with potential development land located off Queens Drive as outlined in red on plan 1. The development land extends to 2.24 hectares (5.54 acres). The land currently comprises of raised landscaped areas which was formerly a power station. The extent of the site is understood to be underlain by basements and other geotechnical anomalies, infilled with demolition material. Numerous phases of investigations reports have been carried out to ascertain the remediation required for the site and these can be provided upon request. Leicestershire County Council are seeking to appoint an agent to act on our behalf in respect of developing and letting the aforementioned site.
