DCC has committed to facilitate the planting of 1 million trees by 2030. Achieving this target will require multi-agency partnerships and external funding, including government grant schemes. DCC will therefore align its procurement of nursery stock with England Tree Action Plan and require all suppliers to meet the published Plant Health Management Standard. This framework agreement will be for a maximum period of 4 years with an estimated value of Lot 1 being £2,000,000

Derbyshire County Council’s vision to achieve the 1 million tree project by 2030 is to have a sole supplier in this framework that can provide best value over the life of the contract (2+1+1 years). DCC will be aiming to plant an estimated 50,000 trees each year by working closely with the successful supplier to ensure that its sundry supplies are ready and delivered in preparation for tree planting and maintenance.
