Description

The University's requirement to procure and embed a backup and restore tool within our Salesforce CRM ecosystem has arisen from inside the University's Student Engagement Programme (SEP). The Student Engagement Programme (SEP) is modernising our end-to-end student experience from those making initial pre-arrival enquiries all the way through to alumni. This is a business-led transformation with the student at the centre which will be enabled by Salesforce - a Customer Relationship Management Solution. This solution is helping us to replace legacy technical solutions which have largely been developed in-house. Therefore, as we move away from reliance on our legacy toolset and over to a Salesforce based CRM, we need to consider other aspects of our CRM business and technical capability, such as this requirement for a data backup and restore tool that will sit tight with our Salesforce platform.
