This is a contribution to the overall costs of a leased space manged by Welsh Government (WG) ICT department, but organised and arranged by WG Estates department.

This is a contribution to the overall costs of a leased space manged by (Welsh Government) WG ICT department, but organised and arranged by WG Estates department. This is an extension of the current arrangement for a 2-year period: 1/4/22 to 31/3/24.

Legal Justification

This arrangement is in accordance with Regulation 12(7) of the Public Contract Regulations (2015) which allows Natural Resources Wales and the Welsh Government to work collaboratively under a public sector-to-public sector agreement. The requirements stated in Recital 33 of the Public Contracts Directive 2014 have also been considered. Welsh Government are lease holders of a space in the Mitel Data Centre, we then sub-lease a section of this and are therefore charged by Welsh Government for the rental and the electricity charges.
