Description

St Ives Town Council is seeking suitably skilled contractors to tender for high level repair and maintenance works to the roof of the listed Library Building. All necessary planning permissions have been secured.

Total Quantity or Scope

Quotations are sought for the following works: (i) Removal and replacement of roof coverings, including assessing existing slates for salvage and reusing slates as far as practical on the south and east slopes. (ii) Price to include for full scaffold for access, including to the turret on the south east corner which will require special licencing agreements. (iii) Masonry repairs to Newham Stone Tracery on south elevation and turret. (iv) Removal of plant and replacement flat roof coverings at western end. (v) Works to be complete before 31st March 2023
